build on those responses to derive an explanation about the difference between
the present perfect tense and the simple past tense. But, I started teaching how

To make my microlesson effective next time, I want to:
- stick to the topic I have chosen and give relative examples and explanation.
- to prepare a detailed lesson plan for my next microlesson.
- avoid teaching irrelevant aspects such as use of adverbs and error correction.
- decrease teacher talk time and increase student talk time by eliciting answers from students.
- avoid commentary and echoing students’ responses.
- give clear and precise instructions.
